Terms of service

Written in plain English by the person who runs the service. It has not yet been independently reviewed by Australian legal counsel; the wording may change while the practices described remain those in place today.
By creating an account on Quick Roof you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose, so that you will actually read them.
1. The service
Quick Roof is a quoting tool for roofing businesses, provided as hosted software you use in a web browser. The accuracy of any quote depends on the cost data you maintain, so we do not promise particular business outcomes.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. The Solo plan is for one user and the Crew plan for up to five. Add team members on Crew rather than sharing a login.
3. Subscription and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in Australian dollars through Stripe. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial and no card is needed to start it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months unless Australian Consumer Law requires it.
4. Your data
You keep ownership of the quotes, customer information and cost data you put into the service. We process it only to provide the service to you. The privacy policy has the detail.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send spam, harass anyone, infringe intellectual property or break Australian law, and do not reverse-engineer or scrape it. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service after giving notice.
6. Changes and availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will give reasonable notice before removing a material feature.
7. Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming in the United States, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are an Australian consumer, this does not take away rights you have under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
