Is there a free trial?

Yes. Both plans start with 14 days free and no card. Your trial end date shows in Settings, then Billing. When it ends, creating, editing and sending quotes pause until you choose a plan and add a card, and no charge is made.

Question 2

Does it work without signal on the roof?

Accepted Answer

You need a connection to save. Drafts autosave as you type, and if the tab closes mid-edit the app offers to restore the unsaved quote. There's no offline mode, so if you're in a black spot, finish the quote in the ute.

Question 3

Do I need Xero or QuickBooks Online?

Accepted Answer

No. Sending and acceptance work on their own. Connect Xero to copy eligible sent quotes there as draft quotes. Connect QuickBooks Online to copy no-GST quotes there as estimates. One provider active at a time.

Question 4

Can my customer accept without an account?

Accepted Answer

They get an email with the PDF and a private link, open it in a browser, and tap Accept quote or Decline. No account and no app to install. Your quote moves from sent to viewed to accepted, and you see each step.

Question 5

What currency am I billed in?

Accepted Answer

Australian dollars, through Stripe, excluding GST. Your quotes are in Australian dollars too, with GST applied the way you set it.

Question 6

What counts as a user?

Accepted Answer

One signed-in person who can create or edit quotes. Solo is one user, Crew is up to five. Your customers don't need an account.

Question 7

Can I move between Solo and Crew?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email support and we'll confirm the change and the billing timing. A Crew workspace needs to be down to one active seat before moving to Solo. Your quotes and cost library stay with the workspace.

Question 8

What happens if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

You keep access until the end of the billing period you've paid for, then quoting pauses. Email privacy@quickroof.app for a copy of your data or to have it deleted. We keep only what billing records and the law require, and we'll tell you what that is.

More than five people, or more than one business?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@quickroof.app and we'll sort something sensible. Running more than one business under one login is available on request for Crew.
